Tickets go on sale this week for the Channel Islands Christmas Lottery.

The jackpot starts at £300,000 and will increase as more tickets are sold.

There are 67 cash prizes, as well as more than £500,000 in instant prizes.

Many islanders form syndicates with their colleagues, friends and family, and, for the 50th anniversary, groups can buy multiple tickets more easily online via the CI Lottery website, cilottery.org.

Head of CI Lottery, Jon Taylor, says:

"Being able to purchase [tickets] online through a secure web page makes life so much easier for syndicate customers."

All proceeds from the lottery are distributed to charities local to the Channel Islands.

Mr Taylor says, over the past half-century, the CI Lottery has supported key community events such as the Island Games, Liberation Day festivities, local leisure facilities and countless local charitable organisations.

"The Christmas Lottery, together with all our instant lottery games, has raised tens of £millions across the islands for charities and worthy causes since its inception in 1975.

"Ultimately, the aim is to generate funds for worthy causes, but we’re also conscious of keeping the ticket price as affordable as possible and making as many winners as we can with the prize fund available to us."

Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, 1 October 2025, and will remain at £2.

The main draw winning numbers will be announced on 18 December 2025, live on Channel 103 in Jersey and Island FM in Guernsey, from 6:00 pm.
