A group of self-titled 'concerned citizens' have announced a series of what they say will be nonviolent actions of 'mindful civil disobedience'.
Campaigners will be protesting about climate change in Jersey throughout this week.
The group - which is separate from Extinction Rebellion - says it is targetting companies and financial institutions it believes to be 'culpable in the destruction of the planet'.

The peaceful protests will be aimed at businesses they say are major contributors to global emissions.
They describe themselves as a mix of islanders from different backgrounds, and not aligned to any particular organisation, who are aiming to raise awareness that some of the worst offending companies are based here.
The group will be continuing their peaceful demonstrations this week.
