A man who suffered serious head injuries when he was hit by a car in Jersey at the weekend has been flown to Southampton hospital.
The collision happened on La Route du Fort near the junction with Beach Road.at around 2.15am on Sunday (15 October).
The 26 year old pedestrian has been transferred to the UK for further treatment.
Police say his condition remains stable.
A 58 year old man - arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury through careless driving - has been bailed by police while their enquiries are ongoing.
Officers want to hear from any witnesses, or anyone who has dashcam or CCTV footage.
