DFDS is now offering a 24-hour day trip ticket from Jersey to France.
The ferry company say foot passengers can book the 'from £29' fare provided the return sailing falls within 24 hours.
Route Director Chris Parker hopes it encourages more islanders to travel to St Malo this winter and during 2026.
“Our discounted short break trip fare remains the best value for those looking to enjoy two or three nights break, but this product gives islanders yet more flexibility to meet their travel needs.
“With Christmas markets approaching and plenty of festive events to be enjoyed, there are some fantastic reasons to travel to Brittany with loved ones, friends or family for a totally different and exciting winter experience.”
Bookings are now on sale for travel between Friday and Sunday for the remainder of 2025 and throughout 2026.
However, people wanting to book the 24-hour Day Trip offer will need to find dates that match the terms of the fare, as it does not apply every weekend.
Ineligible selections will return the message 'Too long time between ferry departures according to product rules.'
