A dog is being treated after falling over a cliff at Les Landes.
Jersey Fire and Rescue say the animal has suffered 'extensive injuries'.
It was rescued just before the tide covered its resting place.
The force has called on dog walkers to keep their pets on a leash near cliff edges.
