Private boats arriving in Jersey have been targeted in a joint maritime enforcement operation.
Jersey Customs and Immigration Service worked with UK Border Security officers onboard its cutter HMC Vigilant last weekend (4-6 September).
They examined a number of motor and sailing boats.

The checks were to ensure vessels had made the required declarations.
Boats arriving from outside the Common Travel Area must submit a Maritime Declaration.
Although some minor infringements were identified, no offences were detected.
Jersey Customs & Immigration Head of Service Rhiannon Small said:
“Effective customs and immigration controls are essential to protecting Jersey's borders.
"While this operation identified a high level of compliance, JCIS remains vigilant to the risks posed by the movement of illicit goods and individuals seeking to evade border controls.
"Working closely with our local and UK partners, we will continue to take robust action to detect, deter and disrupt unlawful activity, demonstrating our shared commitment to keeping Jersey's borders safe, secure and well protected.”
