The shop vacancy rate in St Helier has fallen to 7.5%.
Jersey Business says the drop from 8.6% at the end of last year is down to more new openings and existing retailers expanding their presence.
It's the first time in a year that the rate has been under 8%.

Separate data for 'covered shopping centres' of more than ten individual shops also put the vacancy rate at 7.5% compared to 19% in the UK. That includes Liberty Wharf and The Parade.
Les Quennevais shopping precinct was also measured separately. Its vacancy rate has remained static at 10%.
The UK high street vacancy rate is 14.1%.
