Fire crews were called out to a flat at Val Plaisant this afternoon after a pan was left on the hob.
Jersey Fire and Rescue were called at 3:19 PM after an automatic fire alarm was set off.
Firefighters had to get into the property through a first-floor window.
No one was injured, but we're being reminded to never leave cooking unattended.
