Direct flights from Jersey to Tenerife will return this winter in addition to a new Lanzarote route.
Fly Direct is reintroducing the link between Jersey and Tenerife from 20 December after a popular winter season last year.
Flights between the islands will run until the end of April 2025.
The airline is also launching a new Lanzarote service, with flights from Jersey to the Canary Island from 25 October, departing weekly.
Matt Thomas, Ports of Jersey CEO, has welcomed the additional service, calling it 'great news for islanders' and in line with the airport's own ambitions:
“ We are aiming to increase passenger numbers by 40% over the next five years, by building more year-round connectivity to the UK and by growing a network of sustainable routes into Europe.
This new route takes the total of our European destinations in 2024 to sixteen, including Munich, Dusseldorf, Zurich, Geneva, Rotterdam and Grenoble, as well as direct services for islanders to Tenerife, Ibiza, Faro, Majorca, Malaga, Split and Madeira."
There are options for islanders to book flight only or all-inclusive holiday packages for stays of up to 14 nights.
