England's netballers - captained by Jersey's Serena Guthrie - have missed out on being crowned Quad Series champions by just two goals.
The Roses recovered from a disappointing defeat to South Africa on Saturday by beating rivals and eventual tournament winners Australia 52-49 at London's Copper Box Arena on Sunday.
Australia retained the Quad Series trophy on goal percentage
Guthrie has described it as 'a good end', saying 'we're not perfect yet, but we're definitely improving'.
It was England's last international match before this summer's World Cup in Liverpool.
