Homophobic graffiti has been sprayed on six homes in St Helier.
The abuse has been daubed in black paint on the outside walls of properties in Rouge Bouillon, Springfield and near Haute Vallee school.
Police have described the graffiti as including homophobic abuse against the LGBTQ+ community and offensive language.
The areas include St Mark's Road, Chestnut Farm, Clairvale Road, Byron Lane and Byron Road.
Officers are appealing for information, and for any private CCTV in those areas that could help identify who is responsible.
"Anyone who may have seen someone in the area with a spray can of paint or who has any private CCTV or any information that could help the investigation is asked to contact police on 612612 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their Anonymous Online Form at Crimestoppers-uk.org."
