Island Energy will appear in court next week, facing criminal charges over a gas explosion on Mont Pinel.
The blast destroyed the back of a property in Elizabeth Villas, leaving the parents of two young children trapped under rubble.
They were taken to hospital, along with their children - aged 2 and 5 - who escaped unharmed.
19 other residents and neighbours of Elizabeth Villas were also evacuated, after a 'massive bang' was heard just before 11:00 pm on 26 June 2024.

Initially, the utility company reported that there was 'no gas escape detected':
"Our findings show there is zero trace of gas. Island Energy has been given the green light to fill in the excavation outside the property so the relevant authorities can make the site secure, and they will continue to investigate the house to ascertain what caused the explosion."

An expert from the UK was brought to Jersey to assist the Fire Service’s investigation.
The Health and Safety Inspectorate initiated its own investigation and is bringing a charge against the gas company under the Health and Safety at Work Law of failing in its duty to ensure public safety.
Island Energy is due before the Magistrates’ Court on 4 December.
