67-year-old Roy Everitt has raised £2,000 for Dementia Jersey in honour of his mother-in-law.
Roy is getting some much-needed rest after cycling 1,900km over 20 days, from Land's End to John O'Groats.
He tackled the challenge with three other friends and his brother-in-law, to raise funds of the local charity close to his heart.
The keen cyclist chose to support Dementia Jersey having receive help from staff there himself, after his mother-in-law was diagnosed with dementia.
Roy said: "My mother-in-law suffers from vascular dementia and we had a lot of help from Dementia Jersey when it became clear that she was declining.
"We didn't know what to do or who to speak to and they were very, very supportive and helpful.
"One of the other riders is my brother-in-law, and with that being his mother, he's ridden for them (Dementia Jersey) as well."

The team cycled from Penzance in Cornwall to Caithness, Scotland and peddled from 60km to 100km a day.

Roy told us what got him through the challenge: "Doing it for the charity was one thing, I knew people had already sponsored me so I thought I really should do it.
"Pride - I made sure I didn't walk up any hills, I managed to get up all of them and really just being in a group of friends with a positive attitude and lots of mutual support of each other and encouragement."
