The Jersey Bulls Women’s team is entering the UK football league.
The club says it's the start of a "historic" new chapter, made possible by a three-year sponsorship deal with global investment group Evelyn Partners.
It's hoped the partnership will create more footballing opportunities for women and girls in the island, and provide a clear pathway to progress to the highest levels of competition.
Chad Morris, Jersey Bulls Women’s manager says: "This is a hugely exciting moment for everyone involved.
"To see a group of local players come together to represent Jersey in a UK league is a big statement about where women’s football is heading in the island.
"We can’t wait to get started, and this wouldn’t have been possible without Evelyn Partners' incredible support."
Jersey Bulls Women's will compete in the South East Counties Women’s Football League Surrey Division 1 for the upcoming 2025/26 season.
Home matches will be played at Springfield Stadium, the same ground used by the men’s side.
The club has said season tickets will be put on sale soon, once it's received its fixture list.
