A Jersey man who was found with more than £22,000 in a rucksack after being arrested for breach of the peace has been jailed after illegal drugs were found in his home.
Samuel Shea Davies (25) has been given a two-year sentence after pleading guilty to possession of drugs and having possession or control of criminal property under the proceeds of crime law.
He was initially arrested for breach of the peace in May 2021.
£22,610.60 was found in his rucksack whilst under arrest, which prompted officers to search his home.
That uncovered personal amounts of Class A and Class C drugs.
