Andrew Russell Renouf has been sentenced to six months in prison for filming women secretly for sexual gratification.
The 36-year-old admitted to the Magistrate's Court he breached his sexual offender restraining order by using a mobile phone in a concealed case to film women in public for sexual motives in 2024.
He is not allowed a mobile phone for a similar offence he committed in 2021.
The Magistrate's Court sentenced him to six months for two counts of conduct likely to breach the peace, and one count of breaching his restraining order under Article 10 (13) Sex Offenders (Jersey) Law 2010.
He has been put on the Sex Offenders' Register for seven years.
Police Constable Jack Maguire, the investigating officer, says the States of Jersey Police are committed to robustly investigating offenders who target women and girls.
"Tackling offending against women and girls is a force priority.
"The States of Jersey Police are committed to investigating and prosecuting all offenders and encourage anyone who has been the victim of a crime to report to police or other agencies below who are in a position to offer support and guidance through all stages of the criminal justice process."
