Jersey Zoo's latest visitor has inspired a new trail around the park, with two-metre-tall cutouts of his favourite foods and augmented reality codes to teach children more about him.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar is in Jersey for summer and is up at Durrell's wildlife park in Trinity.
Islanders can trace his footsteps, with big apple and pear pop-ups scattered around, with clues as to where he may have gone next in the form of QR codes.

The trail gives children a chance to learn about the life cycle of the butterfly, whilst climbing and crawling through something familiar, in the world created by Eric Carle.
It also aims to help visitors learn about the days of the week and counting.
Ian Osborne, Director of Commercial at Jersey Zoo, says they are really excited to be bringing another trail to Jersey this summer.
"The Very Hungry Caterpillar is such a well-loved book, and this amazing trail is an excellent way for us to connect our visitors to nature in a fun and playful way.
"We are looking forward to seeing this beautiful tale come to life across the zoo."
