The court heard 53 year old Donna Bentley committed the offences in the 1990s.
53 year old Donna Bentley has been found guilty of multiple historic sexual offences against a teenage boy who was under 16 at the time.
Jersey's Royal Court heard yesterday (31 July) that the abuse happened in the 1990s.
It included one count of indecent assault and two of procuring acts of gross Indecency - persuading the boy to engage in sexual acts.
The victim approached Police in 2024 and Bentley was arrested in 2025.
DC Elianne Jones, who led the investigation, praised the victim for coming forward in the first instance, and for giving evidence to the court during the trial.
“Throughout the duration of this case, the victim has shown incredible bravery and strength and has overcome many barriers to give his evidence before the court.
"The long-lasting trauma sustained from this abuse has greatly impacted the victim’s life and it has taken immense courage to speak out about what he experienced. I am very grateful to the victim for his cooperation and patience during this investigation.
"His willingness to speak out has ensured that the person responsible has now been held accountable for her actions.”
Jersey Police say they are committed to investigating sexual crime even if it occurred years ago.
