A new headteacher has been appointed for Jersey's Les Quennevais school.
Jon Sindall takes over the role from Sarah Hague in September 2024, after she announced late last year a move to St George's Preparatory School.
Mr Sindall has more than 20 years of experience in education and the Children, Young People, Education & Skills Department says he has expansive leadership knowledge.
The new headteacher has worked in both the UK and internationally and will be moving to the island to take on the role.

He says he considers himself extremely fortunate to be able to lead Les Quennevais School as its next headteacher.
" [I] am hugely excited by the prospect of building on the exceptional work of Mrs Hague.
"During the interview process, it was fantastic to meet with the children, who are rightly proud of their school and were a credit to their families.
"I am looking forward to meeting with all staff, parents and students in the coming months and getting to know them all better."
