LibertyBus has increased single bus tickets by as much as 20p for contactless customers.
Adult passengers using their cards to pay for their journey will be charged £2.75 now, rather than £2.55, with children paying £1.40, up from £1.27.
Children under 5 can still travel for free.
It is the first price increase since April 2025, following the public transport operator's new 10-year contract.
