Jersey's RNLI had a mission to remember over the weekend.
The St Catherine lifeboat was launched to Les Ecrehous to find a young woman.
It was here that crewman Jason Banks, got down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend of 10 years, Carlie Le Crom.
Jason, who has been with the RNLI for the past 5 years, knew he wanted to incorporate the rescue boat into his big plans.
"Carlie's dad used to have a boat, so boats are quite special to her too. It just made sense to mix the two together."

After celebrating their 10-year anniversary in July, Jason thought Carlie could be expecting him to pop the question, so he decided to delay to avoid giving away his plan.
He had hoped to ask Carlie to be his bride last weekend, but bad weather threw a spanner in the works - pushing his five-month-long mission back by a week.
Luckily the pair were presented with much better weather over this weekend.
Carlie told Channel 103 that she was not expecting it at all.
"I thought it was a joke at first, until I saw the ring!"
Many congratulations to the happy couple!
