Lifeguard patrols end on some beaches

Sunday 14 September marks the end of the RNLI lifeguard peak season, patrols will finish at Plémont and Grève de Lecq.

Lifeguard patrols at Plémont and Grève de Lecq will conclude on Sunday 14 September.

RNLI lifeguards will continue to patrol daily from 10 am to 6 pm at St Ouens (Le Braye, El Tico and Watersplash) and St Brelade’s Bay until Sunday 28 September.

At Le Braye, RNLI lifeguards will continue patrols on weekends only (4 and 5, 11 and 12 and 18 and 19) in October, and daily patrols will return for the October half-term holiday, from Saturday 25 October until Sunday 2 November.

Jake Elms, RNLI Lead Lifeguard Supervisor for Jersey has thanked his team:

"For Jersey’s RNLI lifeguard teams, the summer is always anticipated to be very busy, and the 2025 peak season has been no exception.

"Our teams worked especially hard throughout the busy August bank holiday, and when the huge swell from Storm Erin created dangerous sea conditions.

"As we begin to see our beaches concluding patrols from this Sunday, I would like to thank our incredible lifesavers for the immense dedication and skill they have shown this year."
