Adam Andrews,  commercial director at East Midlands Airport, said:

"We know Jersey is a really popular destination offering an idyllic island escape, and East Midlands is a fantastic gateway for Jersey residents looking for access to our great region and beyond.”

Jersey to Paris Charles de Gaulle will run on Sundays, Tuesday and Thursdays until 22 October.

The airline says it connects the island with 390 worldwide destinations from the French capital.

Ports of Jersey has welcomed the extra connectivity for islanders, and the opportunity to reach new markets to support the visitor economy.
