A man has been charged over an attempted robbery at Morrisons on Gloucester Street last Friday night.
Eduard George Gheorghe appeared before Jersey's Magistrate's Court this morning.
Police charged the 37 year old, who lives in St Helier, on Tuesday night with one count of attempted robbery.
He has been remanded into custody and is due to re-appear in court on 19 February.
