A man has been jailed for life after being found guilty of murdering Zsuzsanna Besenyei in Jersey.
The 37-year-old disappeared in May 2018 and her body was later found on a St Ouen beach.
57-year-old Warn was convicted in November 2020 following a re-trial.
He was also found guilty of two counts of perverting the course of justice after lying to police officers about what he'd done.
"This was a lengthy and complex investigation and those involved were committed to finding the truth. Warn went to considerable lengths to cover his tracks and avoid detection and the sentence today, shows the gravity of the crime. Although nothing will bring Zsuzsanna back, we hope this result goes some way to helping her family to heal and come to terms with life without Zsuzsanna. I would like to thank the Besenyei family for their patience and understanding throughout." - Detective Chief Inspector Craig Jackson.
A life sentence was handed down with a minimum term of 14 years and two months.
