A 31-year-old man has been given 120 hours of community service and placed on the Sex Offenders Register after he pleaded to 9 counts of voyeurism.
Marco Paulo Freitas Do Nascimento was arrested after a member of the public reported him to the police for trying to take photos of someone in the public toilets of a car park in St Helier.
He was arrested later that day after being identified on CCTV.
Officers seized his phone and found a 'large number' of pictures and some videos of men using various different public toilets throughout town.
He appeared in Magistrate’s Court in March where get pleaded guilty to the offences.
Detective Constable Jeremy Percival says it's an unsettling crime for the victims.
"We should all feel safe and secure in these spaces and not fear that our privacy may be violated in such a way. We are committed to seeing offenders such as these face the courts."
Freitas Do Nascimento has also been handed a five-year restraining order.
