Two men from Liverpool have been charged with importing Class A drugs into Jersey.
A UK registered vehicle coming off the Commodore Clipper from Portsmouth on Saturday 7 August was searched, and Customs officers found a hidden compartment in which around 1.2 kilos of a substance thought to be cocaine was found.
The drugs have a street value of between £150,000 and £180,000.
Craig Patrick Yeowart (38) and Darren Paul Maidment (35) appeared in the Magistrate's Court today (Monday 9 August).
