Drivers can expect disruption in Les Quennevais from Monday as work starts to resurface the main road.
It is being done in 10 sections along the road, starting at the junction with Route Orange and progressing towards La Rue Carrée.
Stretches will be closed on weekdays between 9am and 5:30pm and on Sundays between 9am and 8pm.
There will also be some lane closures on weekdays between 7pm and 11pm.
States Highways Maintenance Manager Robert Cabot hopes to finish the by 14th February.
Motorists are being advised to keep up to date with the progress at www.gov.je/roadworks
Businesses in the area will remain open during the works.

Jersey Airport is advising people travelling to and from the Airport to allow extra time for their journey during the roadworks.
