New Harbour Duty-Free Shop

A new duty-free shop for ferry passengers has opened at Elizabeth Terminal.

The shop, run by Capi Duty-Free Ports, will provide an extra service for people travelling to and from the port.

Harbour Master, Captain Bill Sadler, says he hopes travellers take advantage of the new service now that it is available.

"I’m pleased that we have now had all the necessary permissions to be able to offer our ferry passengers the opportunity to buy duty free goods at the harbour."

Ports of Jersey decided to add a shop to the harbour to reflect the duty-free offering at the airport.

Passengers can pre-order their goods online - including alcohol and tobacco - up to 30 days before they travel and pick them up after passing through security.

Purchases can also be made in the terminal building, or the car lanes before sailing.
