Fire and Rescue were called to flames in an outbuilding that had spread to a nearby car.
Just after 6:20 pm on Monday 23 March, multiple calls were received to a fire at La Grand Route des Sablons, opposite La Rue de la Forge.
The blaze was in an outbuilding and had spread to a parked car.
At the height of the incident, 16 firefighters were present, along with 3 fire appliances and a duty officer.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus used jets to extinguish the flames, and the shed and the joining property were checked for people.
The service established that all were safe, and the person who attempted to fight the fire was treated at the scene by paramedics as a precautionary check.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated, but it is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
