Speed limits could be lowered on around 50 roads in St John, St Mary and Trinity.
A public consultation has opened today (12 June) and is inviting feedback on the changes until the end 28 July.
The routes include the main road through St John's Village being cut from 30 to 20mph.
50 roads would be affected in total, including La Route d’Ebenezer, La Route des Issues, and La Route du Nord.
Tomorrow will see the launch of a consultation on Speed Limits in a few Parishes including St John, Jersey— Parish of St John (@StJohnJersey) June 11, 2023

It's the latest government speed review, following the reductions in St Clement in March.
Infrastructure Minister Deputy Tom Binet says limits need to be 'appropriate for each area'.
“We’re aware lowering limits isn’t always popular with motorists, but changing limits really can make things safer for cyclists and pedestrians. It’s important we listen to the concerns of residents on some of the smaller parish roads, and this anonymous survey will help make sure we get this right.”
The consultation can be completed online or by picking up a paper version from the relevant Parish Hall.
The roads being consulted upon are:
