A running club for teenage girls in Jersey is opening to Year 9 students and launching a n programme for complete beginners.
'If you can walk, you should come along' is the message from 'See Her Run', a club for teen girls wanting to jog, meet friends, and get outside.
In its first year, it has welcomed girls in school years 10 to 13 and currently has 40 members.
Now it is expanding, opening up to girls about to go into Year 9.
Plus, it is launching 'She Starts Here' for complete beginners to running, which begins Thursday 11 September.
It aims to take girls aged 13-18 from zero to 3k by the October half-term, by combining walking and running.

The new season kicks off with a Scavenger Fun Run on Tuesday 9 September, which is open to all.
Founder Ceri Tinley says it's completely non-competitive:
"Because it's open to all the schools on the island, what we've seen is a real sense of community - with the girls making friends across schools and hanging out with people that they perhaps wouldn't have originally met, which is lovely to see."
Membership for the club is completely free and runs are held twice a week - Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4.15 pm.
The group meets at the Sail Statue near the Horizon Buildings by the Radisson Hotel and each run is led by qualified volunteers.
