Glass recycling bins at Grainville are being removed in the new year.
The parish of St Saviour is taking away the glass collection points at the playing friends at the end of January.
One reason is because of persistent fly-tipping, and safety risks to young children using the area.
Officials say ratepayers can ask the parish hall for a free glass bin, which will be emptied monthly during kerbside collections.
The St. Saviour Parish Depot bring bank will remain in place for 2025, with a decision on the removal of glass bins and other recycling services to be made by the end of March.
If you require a glass bin, please contact the Parish Hall at 735864.
