A teenager has been arrested after a man was allegedly punched in the head and kicked whilst laying on the ground.
Jersey Police say the assault happened sometime between 2am and 3am on Saturday (19 February) on Queen Street, close to the Bath Street junction.
The victim suffered minor head injuries.
The suspect is described as being just over five feet tall, slim with black hair and olive skin.
He was wearing a light brown hooded jacket and dark jeans.
A teenager was arrested has been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.
Officers say there were people on Queen Street at the time who may be able to help them.
