This Boxing Day will mark the 50th anniversary of the annual 'Twelve Churches Cavalcade'.
Classic vehicles will line-up along the Esplanade before passing through every parish and finishing at the Weighbridge.
Lieutenant Governor Sir Stephen Dalton will wave the starting flag and will also, with Lady Dalton, be a passenger in one of the cars.
Jonathan Scott Warren is the president of the Jersey Old Motor Club. He says it remains a special event:
"The first Boxing Day run was held in 1968, and it was a year later in 1969 (50 years ago) that the first run passing all 12 parish churches was established and has been run every year since. This still remains our very special event of the year and our members all look forward to this very traditional run."
