Jersey's had its warmest February day on record.
The temperature climbed to 16.9 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
That is eight degrees above the average for the time of year.
Jersey Met confirmed it beat the 16.2C it reached on a February day back in 1948.
What a glorious weekend we're having! The temperature has reached 16.9°C at the Maison St Louis Observatory so far this afternoon, a whopping 8 degrees above average and the highest February temp ever recorded in Jersey! The previous record of 16.2°C was set way back in 1948. pic.twitter.com/bjSb9smWcK

Islanders were out across Jersey enjoying the glorious sunshine.

And Jeanette Achler celebrated the unseasonal weather with an ice cream, or two!

The sunny and mild conditions are expected to continue, with highs of 16 Celsius forecast until Wednesday before potentially giving way to cloud and showers on Thursday.
