A 30-year-old woman has been arrested in Jersey on suspicion of child neglect after two young children were left in People's Park.
Police say two girls, aged 7 and 1, were sitting on a bench in the children's play area at around 6pm on Monday 7th September.
The older of the two was wearing her school uniform.
Officers say both children are safe and they know who they are.
They want to speak to anyone who saw the two children, or any adults who may have been with them at the time.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 612612 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
