A woman and a girl have been hurt after being hit by a ladder that fell off a truck in St Clement.
It happened on Grande Route de la Côte, between the Ambassador Hotel and M&S, sometime between 12:45pm and 1:05pm yesterday (20 July).

The truck, carrying scaffolding poles, was heading towards the Rice Bowl, while the woman and girl were walking on the pavement closest to the beach, just before the hotel, when the ladder fell off the truck and hit them.
The driver turned around to check on them and to collect the ladder.
Police want to speak to anyone who saw what happened.
The truck was described as having a grey and red cab with a red diagonal stripe through the centre of the cab.
The injured girl was wearing a matching cream t-shirt and shorts, and the woman was wearing a black dress with blue shoes.
