The son of the founder of fashion brand Mango, who died during a fall while they were hiking in mountains with other family members, has been arrested by Spanish police.
Isak Andic's son Jonathan, 45, was the only witness to the incident, which was initially treated as an accident.
In December 2024, 71-year-old Isak Andic died when he fell more than 100 metres (328ft) from a cliff near Barcelona.
Police opened an investigation but closed it a few weeks later.
Then in March 2025, officers reopened it, and in October said it was being investigated as a possible homicide.
Jonathan Andic was taken to court facilities in Martorell, in eastern Spain, where the case is being investigated, said a spokesperson for the Catalan regional police, Mossos d'Esquadra, who spoke anonymously to the AP news agency.
A family spokesperson confirmed Jonathan Andic was being questioned by investigators, but declined to provide details.
"The cooperation has been and will remain total," the spokesperson said of Jonathan Andic, who police said was detained on Tuesday and remains in custody.
Jonathan Andic is the eldest of Isak Andic's three children and one of his father's heirs.
He is vice chair of the board at Mango, one of Spain's biggest retailers.
The spokesperson repeated that Jonathan Andic's family was confident of his innocence.
The court handling the case said last year that the investigation was not directed at any specific individual.

Isak Andic, who was born in Istanbul, moved to Catalonia in the northeast of Spain in the 1960s and founded Mango in 1984.
He saw it grow into one of Europe's leading fast fashion brands with 2,900 stores in 120 markets around the world.
At the time of his death, he was non-executive chairman of Mango with a net worth of $4.5bn (£3.6bn), according to Forbes.
Jonathan Andic and his two sisters jointly own 95% of Mango, with 5% owned by Toni Ruiz, its chief executive and president.
Mango declined to comment on the development.
