Islanders who bought from GROW's greenhouse over the weekend are asked to confirm what they purchased after £700 worth of stock went missing.
GROW is a horticultural charity and says it cannot afford the loss of £700 worth of stock, which it says went missing over the past weekend, (31 October to 1 November).
Its greenhouse is open and has an honesty box. Items taken include hedge and border plants, flowers and wood chip and compost.
The charity says since reporting the issue earlier this week many people have been in touch:
"We have been overwhelmed by the messages of support, kindness and generous donations following our recent post.
Thank you so much. It means a great deal to everyone at Grow, particularly our Crew, to see just how much the community cares."
GROW has CCTV cameras and is reviewing the footage to piece together when the stock went missing.
The charity wants anyone who visited on Saturday or Sunday to get in touch with details of what they bought.
It says the weekend was not particularly busy so the task should be relatively easy.
GROW says if those responsible don't make themselves known, then they will ask the police to get involved.
