The force's operations and priorities will be influenced by the results of a new community survey.
Crime in Guernsey, what kind of offences cause the most concern and whether people have confidence in the force are just a number of areas Guernsey Police wants feedback on.
Chief Officer Damian Kitchen wants to ensure there is an understanding between police and the community.
"Our goal is to ensure that the police service we provide meets the expectations of the community as best as possible.
"Of course, we may not be able to do or act on everything everyone suggests in the exact way they describe, but it is vital for us to understand the prevailing feeling in the community.
"I also believe that open communication and engagement with islanders is key to creating a safer and more trusting environment for everyone.
"We encourage all Bailiwick residents to take a few minutes to complete the survey and let their voices be heard.”
Chief Officer Kitchen took over from Ruari Hardy in November 2024 and is drawing up a three-year policing plan.

The survey is available online and can be completed until 1 March. Responses will remain confidential.
