Guernsey Met recorded 34.8 less sunshine hours last month than average, with two completely sunless days.
The 27 and 31 of July had 100% cloud cover, reducing the total hours of sunshine, and helping to make July 2023 Guernsey's dullest in a quarter of a century.
Monday (31 July) also saw more than 25% of the month's total rainfall - 9.8mm of 38.1mm. That is still 5.1mm less than the 30-year average.
The average temperature was 17.1 degrees Celsius - 0.4 degrees higher than average.
