Guernsey has had its hottest day of the year so far, with temperatures reaching 30.4°C this afternoon (12 July).
That beats the predicted high of 29°C.

The rest of the week is looking a little milder, but temperatures are still expected to reach the high 20s.
But by the weekend, we could be in for another record day - with forecasters predicting highs of 32°C on Sunday.
There were also record highs over in Jersey today, matching the island's previous 2022 record of 33.2°C.
The hottest temperature ever previously recorded in the Channel Islands was 36°C.
