Tourism contributed £151 million to Guernsey's economy last year, up £10 million on 2024.
The latest annual Travel and Visitor Accommodation Report reveals a total of 282,028 tourists travelled here in 2025, 17,000 more than on the previous year.
The scheme that allows French day-trippers to travel on their national ID card and Guernsey's new contract with Brittany Ferries appears to have peaked interest.
Day-trippers were up by 31%, while visitors from France grew by 69%.
Data also revealed 7,000 more overnight stays.
Tourism Lead for the Committee for Economic Development, Deputy Lee Van Katwyk, described this as a positive result.
“This latest data suggests our ongoing efforts to strengthen visitor links with neighbouring jurisdictions is continuing to bear fruit.
"2025 was a key year for tourism in the island, largely thanks to increased ferry services via Brittany Ferries, more emphasis on marketing the island to our French neighbours, and greater collaboration across our local tourism industry.
"The Committee is continuing to build on this positive momentum with exciting initiatives such as the Big Eat Festival, an expansion of our cruise ship schedule, and the reintroduction of British Airways which will all help to make for another successful tourist season in 2026.”
