Police have been made aware of recurring antisocial behaviour at La Valette Bathing Pools.
Today, a bin has been damaged, and routine inspections over the last month have found and removed broken glass bottles from the pool area.
Bailiwick Law Enforcement says that the area is now being monitored, and patrols will be taking place.
It reminds islanders that anyone responsible for damage or littering could face enforcement action.
Broken glass poses a danger of injury to swimmers and animals, particularly at weekends when staff are not on site to carry out immediate clean-ups.
They are asking everyone to look after La Valette so it remains a 'safe and welcoming' part of the island.
