Taxi fares have risen by 3.34% in the first increase for two years.
Taking a taxi in Guernsey has become more expensive. Rates have now increased to reflect a two year gap since the last rise in January 2020.
A two mile daytime journey goes up by 20p to £7.30 while a five mile trip increases by 60p to £13.90.
Night time fares rise by 40p for a two mile journey and 60p for a five mile trip.
The Taxi Federation - which represents drivers - agreed not to increase fares in 2021 because the rise would have been less than 1%.
The minimum fare, known as the standing charge, stays the same at £4.50.
The fares have increased following a public consultation.
