16 and 17 year olds in the Bailiwick can receive a second dose whilst boosters will be offered to islanders over 40.
It comes after the JCVI announced earlier that it recommends the further Covid-19 vaccinations for these age groups.
Previously, 16 and 17 year olds were only recommended to receive one dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
2/3 Following this announcement, we are working with the clinical teams to ensure those islanders who are in the groups announced this morning are identified and receive their second dose or booster dose accordingly.

The booster jabs for adults will be offered after six months has passed from their second vaccination.
Islanders are being reminded that 28 days must elapse after testing positive for Covid-19 before they can book a vaccination.
Anyone who is unwell or has symptoms of coronavirus should also not attend the vaccination centre.
