David Merris and Ryan-Zico Black will oversee the Senior Men’s Representative Team.
The pair of ex-professional and non-league local footballers take over from Tony Vance and Colin Fallaize.
Both David and Ryan-Zico have played in Muratti matches and in Island Games tournaments.
They both agree now is the time to transition into management.
Merris says they've got some big shoes to fill, but the enthusiasm needed to succeed:
"It's a massive honour for us and we are looking forward to the challenge.
Long-term I think we are looking at creating that winning mentality within the island.
So from a senior level right the way down to the younger age groups - getting that ethos through.
We want to get to the point where people fear Guernsey rather than the other way around."
GFA Chief Executive Gary Roberts says their joint guidance will benefit the next generation of Guernsey footballers:
“The wealth of experience that David and Ryan bring to the role, both from their careers in professional and non-league football, and more recently within local football, including Guernsey FC, is an attribute that we firmly believe will be important in building a successful Senior Men’s Representative team.
With a lot of good young players coming through, and experienced players at both Guernsey FC and Priualx level, the future looks bright and we are excited to begin working with everyone."
