Nearly 10% of sailings to and from Jersey were cancelled between July and September.
That’s been revealed by Ports of Jersey in its quarterly ‘Quality of Service’ report.
It says the cancellations were predominately as a result of the technical issues faced by Manche Iles.
Both of the operator’s vessels broke down in July, causing hundreds of passengers to be stranded.
More than 90% of sailings arrived or departed the island on time.
7.5% of running ferry sailings were delayed by more than half an hour.
Jersey Airport saw 7,000 flights come and go in that time, with around 70% running on time and 1% being cancelled.
The average delay on arriving and departing flights was 17 minutes.
Nearly 99% of passengers passed through security in less than 15 minutes. 99.9% got through in less than half an hour.
