23 hospital patients in Jersey now have coronavirus - six more than yesterday.
The Health Minister warned last Wednesday, when there were eight people with the virus in hospital, that the Nightingale Hospital may need to be used if case numbers continue to rise as they are.
A week ago (30 November) there were two people in hospital with Covid-19.
31 more cases have been identified in the last 24 hours - but only 1200 tests were carried out.
11 have recovered, which brings overall active case numbers up to 536.

1678 tests are pending.
3985 direct contacts have been identified and told to isolate.
Year 9 students who go to Les Quennevais School have been told to stay at home tomorrow (Tuesday 8 December) after a Year 9 pupil tested positive for coronavirus.
The Chief Minister will host a media briefing from 7pm tonight. The government says he will update islanders on the latest results, shielding arrangements, and vaccine plans.
